Definition¶

Managed collection of website traffic, engagement, monetization, and retention data captured from Google Analytics 4 across the organization's public-facing websites.

Description¶

The web analytics records asset consolidates data pulled from the GA4 Data API (standard reports, real-time reports, and cohort reports) and the GA4 Admin API (property metadata) across the Adanian Labs, AICE, Afyarekod, DataInViz, Conversational Engine, and Caspre properties into a common representation used to calculate the sales.web_* metrics and KPIs.

Quality Expectations¶

- Every record must be attributable to a single GA4 property, using a consistent property
  identifier across all six sites.
- Rate and average metrics (engagement rate, average engagement time, retention rate)
  must be stored alongside their underlying counts, not only as pre-computed percentages,
  so they can be recomputed rather than incorrectly averaged when blended across properties
  or periods.
- Retention (cohort) records must be kept distinct from standard daily records, since
  they are sourced from a different GA4 API request shape with different date-range
  semantics.
- Key event definitions per property must be tracked, since which events count as
  a key event is a per-property GA4 configuration choice rather than a fixed global
  list.
